Creag Bheag.
Unlike on the other side of Creag Bheag where, as trainees we built a path, the North side overlooking Loch Gynack is bereft of usable stone, so for this project it was necessary to fly all the stone and aggregate in.
The contract was to build 580m of stone pitching with aggregate surfaces, the construction of stone built drainage features with lateral drainage and the reinstatement of the site and landscaping to optimise the natural regeneration. Construction phase photos.
